She is hardly known for dressing conservatively.
But Paloma Faith seemed to surpass herself when she performed at a concert in Delamere Forest, Cheshire, on Friday evening.
The eccentric star was headlining Forest Live when she stepped out in a multi-coloured,crochet-effect dress - which not only raised eyebrows, but also showed off her underwear.

The 33 year-old, who hails from trendy Hackney in East London, sported the yellow, pink, orange and red look with a pair of matching shoes in orange.
And, as she danced on stage under the lights, her pink bra and kicker set were clearly on view to the audience.
However, evidently not feeling shy in her sartorial slip-up, she seemed to enjoy the attention and confidently paraded about.

Wearing her blonde hair up in a half-up, half-down style, she added a ribbon for extra kitsch detail and kept her make-up remarkably low-key.
Singing a number of her hits, she was flanked by an all-male band as she delivered a powerhouse vocal performance.
The set comes just a week since she appeared as Glastonbury festival, where she put on an equally ambitious display - although that involved a jumpsuit which was feline dinner suit-inspired.

Friday's show is the fifteenth season of the Forest Live gigs that take place at seven forest locations across the UK.

The programme is self-sustaining and provides revenue to plough back into the management of woodlands in a variety of social and environmental projects.
However, there was no sign of Paloma's boyfriend, who was absent from the audience.

In March, she told the Telegraph that she is very happy in her latest relationship, although she doesn't name him.

She said: 'I really trust the person I'm with and I've never trusted anyone like that before – not a man – because I've had quite dysfunctional relationships in my life.
'I've got a boyfriend now who's my best friend and he's the first person I've been out with where I can say anything to him and he doesn't judge me.'

Meanwhile, the singer is apparently being lined up as the next female coach on the BBC talent show after Simon Cowell poached Rita to take a seat on The X Factor.
The negotiations come two years after Paloma, 33, was offered a place on the panel following original coach Jessie J's departure in 2013.

At the time, the kooky star - who has acted as a mentor on the show in the past - admitted she didn't feel confident enough to dish out critcism to other performers.

Speaking at the time, she said: 'Yes they did offer me The Voice, but I didn't feel it was right.'
'I don't like the idea of eliminating people because I don't feel confident enough about my own abilities to judge anybody else.'
The new female coach will join the show at a critical time after the embarrassing loss of Hot Right Now hitmaker Rita from the line-up.
